YW in Excellence, Wanted Poster

I made each girl a wanted poster to place down the hall way before "Court" goes into session... These turned out better than I could have imagined. So... CUTE! A fun thing for the girls to keep and a nice reminder to stand as a witness of Christ.

YW in Excellence

For our YW in Excellence this year, the young women are on "trial" for standing as witnesses of Christ. Parents are the Jurors. The trial will include "evidence" of what the girls have been working on for the year to show that they are followers of Christ.. Should be fun. Here's the invite I made for the parents.

Opening Exercises

Our Awesome Young Women President added some great ideas to our opening exercises. 

Missionary Moment- This gives the girls a chance to tell us about missionary opportunities they have had in the week. It can be anything from being a friend to someone, inviting an inactive or non-member to an activity, or being a good example.

Personal Progress Tree- For an activity the girls made a tree out of foam and covered it with dumb dumb suckers.Whenever someone has started, worked on, or completed a personal progress experience, they get a sucker. A nice little motivator. 

Week at a Glace- From a soccer game, receiving your drivers license, or a ill family member, week at a glace gives the girls an opportunity to share events they have going on in their lives. Whether it be a prayer in their behalf or a text to wish good luck. It's always wonderful to know your leaders and friends love, care and are thinking about you. 

Adding these things has really helped unify and strengthen testimonies.

 What a great and marvelous work to be a part of.
